Monumento Habrí (Open Monument Day) on Sunday November 4^th, 2012 - Area di Kurá di OTROBANDA

For the tenth time the Fundashon Pro Monumento organizes the Monumento Habrí (Open Monument Day). On Sunday November 4^th, 2012 the attention will be focused on the Area di Kurá di Otrobanda (Coral area). By walking the route indicated on the map in this flyer one can get a good idea of the rich historical architecture of this part of Otrobanda. Some twentysix buildings will be open for the general public from 10:00 am until 06:00 pm.  The Monumento Habrí flags will indicate which monuments will be open. On the Monumento Habrí 2012 we will be celebrating that it has been 15 years ago that Unesco nominated Willemstad World Heritage City and we are celebrating the 80th birthday of the oldest radiostation on Curaçao, the 'Curaçaosche Radio Omroep' (CUROM, Z-86, Mi- 95 & 88 RocKorsou) which will also be open at Roodeweg 64-66.  Along the route there will also be exhibitions as well as musical performances.
